Vi'Mantis Isca is a new arrival to Ishgard, his training as a Wood Warder affording him the chance to become a squire after the formation of the new government.
In his spare time, Mantis has worked with shrinking the necessary size of aethernet crystals. The requisite aetherology and practical tests take up much of his office hours, but it is only how he passes time.
Instead, he would rather take up contracts; as a squire he is mostly asked for escort duties or protective custody. As an aetherologist, he has need of willing subjects that will allow him to examine their aether, and is also capable of aetheric therapy and mild healing - though he can only really heal himself effectively.
Finally, he has a passion for teaching others and helping them become capable of helping still more people. As a way to expand his reach and goodwill, Mantis accepts students happily, in any subject in which he is proficient, including combat, aetherology, hunting, research, and more.
